Deleting your data and erasing recordings

Because your child’s voice notes and journal writing stay on your own device (never on our servers), you’re in control of them.

• Erase a single note or recording — use the delete control next to it in the app.
• Erase everything on this device — the app has an “erase all notes, history and recordings” control that wipes the on-device data, including the voice recordings.
• Delete your account — this removes your grown-up account and its records from our servers, and wipes this device.

Two things worth knowing:

• On-device data is per device. If you use Stoic Sprout on more than one device, erase each one you want cleared.
• Removing the app from your home screen may not erase the saved data. To be certain, use the in-app “erase all” control before removing it.
